Focus on Chadwell Heath
Chadwell Heath, which straddles the London Boroughs of Redbridge and Barking & Dagenham, is an area of East London where we have unearthed and completed some exciting development deals which will provide hundreds of new homes to the area.
The Elizabeth Line will, (baring any further delays!) begin operating at Chadwell Heath station from next year, significantly improving journey times to and from Central London, which in turn has had a positive effect on residential and commercial property markets in the region.
The combination of improved transport links, good existing housing stock, plentiful town centre brownfield sites and an increasingly affluent population has seen substantial growth in Chadwell Heath and the surrounding area, and the prospect of further growth and relative stability means that many developers are choosing to focus on these regional areas as opposed to central London locations.
Recent projects within Chadwell Heath which Kingsbury have co-ordinated include:
- Off-market acquisition of The White Horse Pub, currently subject to a planning application for 56 new homes
- Sale of The Coopers Arms Pub, where a planning application will be submitted shortly
- Off-market acquisition of a former tea factory, where a planning application will be submitted shortly
- Sale of a High Street commercial premises with planning permission for 9 apartments
