Finsbury Park Hotel To Be Sold

Finsbury Park Hotel To Be Sold

The Majestic Hotel has been trading from its prominent position on Seven Sisters Road for over 30 years. The owners, who run the hotel business themselves, decided that the time was right to dispose of the property and explore the site’s development potential to maximise value.

Working with Stephen Davy Peter Smith architects, planning permission has now been approved for demolition of the existing building and replacement with a new residential block to provide 25 self-contained apartments.

The approved scheme comprises 5 x 1 bed, 11 x 2 bed and 9 x 3 bed units extending to a total Net Saleable Area of 20,834ft², of which 8 will be provided as affordable housing.

The private units will be in high demand, with Finsbury Park situated directly opposite the site and Manor House tube station just 3 minutes walk away which offers links to Central London in around 10 minutes.

Given the excellent location, the property may be suited to other uses such as D1 or B1, or continued use as a hotel or hostel.
