Finsbury Park Office Development Sold for PD Conversion

Creating bespoke marketing strategies is one of the ways we add value when disposing of certain properties. Ensuring that the opportunity is presented to the market in the correct fashion, with all the relevant information in place, creates a greater level of interest and can significantly speed up the sale process.

In conjunction with Allsop, we were instructed to arrange a disposal of a development opportunity in Finsbury Park, where it was clear from the outset that the correct marketing campaign would be required in order to meet the Seller’ expectations. The property, known as Fonthill Mews, comprised a collection of office buildings surrounding a central courtyard and had recently been granted Prior Approval for conversion to 19 residential units under Permitted Development Rights.

In addition to a publication in the Estates Gazette, we produced a high-quality brochure and a dataroom which contained all planning, technical and legal documents that a purchaser would need to see in order to complete their due diligence.

A purchaser was identified, terms agreed and contracts exchanged all within one week from the start of our marketing campaign; a feat which was only made possible due to the comprehensive information package available and the competitive bidding environment that our marketing strategy was designed to create.
