30 New Homes for Loughton
Whilst residential price growth has plateaued in many parts of London over recent months, the West-Essex market remains buoyant due to strong transport links and a generally more affordable price-point for housing, with Loughton being a particular hot-spot.
Following the unconditional acquisition of the former Golden Lion Pub on Border’s Lane by our clients The Burney Group, planning permission was obtained to redevelop the site along with adjoining garden land, with a new build scheme of 30 apartments, all for open market sale.
Kingsbury were instructed to co-ordinate a sale on an off-market basis, and within a week from our instruction, terms were agreed with Crest Nicholson, who we were aware had a requirement for a site in Loughton for some time. Crest exchanged contracts and completed the purchase in February 2017, with a start on site scheduled later this Spring.
The high volume of development deals which Kingsbury coordinate enables our team to have up to the minute knowledge of the buying requirements of both major and more niche developers, which ensures our sales are carried out promptly and at maximum value, either via open marketing or by direct one to one introductions. If you have a site which you are considering a sale of, please contact Keir.Goldstein@Kingsbury-Consultants.co.uk for initial advice.
