136 New Homes for Essex Crossrail Hub

The long-anticipated opening of the Elizabeth Line in 2017, which will provide much improved travelling conditions and journey times across the Capital, has been a catalyst for investment a development around Crossrail stations. Brentwood, which is located at the Eastern end of the line, will see journey times to Bond Street reduced to just 44 minutes, making this already popular commuter town even more in demand.

September 2016 saw the completion of our acquisition of Regent House in Brentwood; an 80,000sq.ft. office building with Permitted Development Rights for conversion to form 136 new apartments. Our clients, Quinata Property Group, will be on site before the end of the year, with delivery expected in 2017 to coincide with the opening of the new Crossrail station, which is a short walk away.

Since the introduction of Permitted Development Rights (PDR) allowing the change of use offices to residential, Kingsbury have become established as market leaders in the acquisition, sale and management of sale of PD schemes, having now completed sales for in excess of 1,850 units.

If you own an office premises which could benefit from PDR anywhere in England, please contact Paul Heale on 020 7183 2529 or paul.heale@kingsbury-consultants.co.uk for initial advice
